In 1952, the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) was founded in New York City with a common goal of sharing and advancing computer technology. It is the largest professional association for computer professionals in the world. In the past, the ACM was created by computer scientists interested in sharing and advancing computer technology. Today, anyone interested in computer science can become a member.
ACM's Student Chapter at MITB serves as a venue for students to learn about computer science together. There are plenty of opportunities for networking among our members, as well as technical and non-technical activities. Our members participate in both technical and non- technical activities. The officers listed on the website can be reached if you're interested in joining the chapter or volunteering at an event!
